What is that "Still Small Voice" saying to you?

Hey out there!  Probably a lot like you, I've been busy, taking care of the kids, family, summer, school, and on top of it all, preparing for what, I believe, is about to hit us! 

I hope everyone's doing very well.  We are all in this together ... In what?  Mothering these great kids of ours ... in this life we have in ... our country ... world.  How changing it is all around us.  We, here in America, really have had it good.  I know that each individual story is different but, we all are in a country where it was determined from the beginning, with our forefathers that, we would have a chance to have a good life.  I love the declaration in our "Declaration of Independence" that says

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

I never, until this year, really even knew anything about our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence.  Not until this year did I have even and incling of what went into establishing our country based on the fact that we were "created equal" with our unalienable rights, on of which is, the Pursuit of Happiness.  This DOES NOT mean that we DESERVE happiness ... it is based on the fact that we, here in America, have our right to the pursuit of our happiness ... HAPPENSTANCE.  We have the opportunity to work and earn the living we want to live. 

When government is in a position to give .... then it is in the position to take away.  Oh, how wonderful it is to have something given to us ... food when we're hungry, gifts at a holiday, a nice note just because.  How just as wonderful, or better it is when we receive something on from what we have done for ourselves...when we have taken responsibility for ourselves.

I could talk all night.  At this time, though, as so much time has gone by and so much has happened in our country, I just urge you to really look deep in your own heart and soul for what you really DO KNOW what is RIGHT!  We will all answer to GOD who created you and the earth you are meant to "RULE" and not "Pledge Allegience to" someday.  We are all responsible for what we know to be right and ... I believe for what we refused to even consider as right or wrong. 

Today is a new day ... only you and God know your thoughts ... those thoughts that come when you stop telking and listen to that still small voice.
