"Workforce Fairness Institute"
Workforce Fairness Institute
Friend,
As Members of Congress
return to Washington, D.C., I thought it appropriate for us to welcome
them by continuing to drive the message that the Employee ‘Forced’
Choice Act will result in massive job loss and the elimination of
worker freedoms, both of which are completely unacceptable.
In
an effort to make those points, the Workforce Fairness Institute has
arranged for employers from across the country to meet with
Representatives in both the U.S. House and Senate to urge them to vote
against the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act.
These personal visits
are incredibly valuable as Congressman must hear directly from business
owners who will be forced to close and the workers who lose their jobs
if this legislation is enacted. Although you may not be in Washington,
D.C. today – you can still join these men and women by voicing your
thoughts against the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act on this page right now.
Our voices on EFCA must be heard. As the news of General Motors’
bankruptcy demonstrates, the stakes are too high for us to allow the
union bosses to have their say. The same Big Labor heads that made
unreasonable demands of the auto industry and failed to properly fund
their benefit programs are the same people now asking for the right to
take over small businesses. We cannot and will not allow them to do to
our nation’s top job producers what they did to the automotive sector.
You
can remind Members of Congress that the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act
will increase unemployment and result in job loss at the worst possible
time.
While the Big Labor Bosses are aggressively working the Halls of Congress, you can fight back by simply sending your Congressman a short message.
Join the business owners and workers traveling to Capitol Hill by contacting your Members of Congress and urging them to oppose the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act. This should be the first message they receive as they return to work and you can make it happen.
Thanks,
Jason McBride
