AMERICA!
... a "Republic" ( ... not a "Democracy")
This is...our Kids' country!
We're still in charge ... What are we going to leave them?
Is there anywhere else If so, where would that be and why? Then why not live there - why stay in America? Just asking! |
We look back an see the generations of our Grandparents, and parents here we are. Our grandparents fought in WWII and dealt with the depression years. Our parents fought, or at least, witnessed the Korean and Vietnam wars. They saw the the uprisings in the 60's rebelling against the Vietnam war, rallying in the streets and making a presence on out television sets. We'll here we are! We have our world issues we're witnessing and looking at our own families and sometimes, wondering, "What are we going to leave them? We have the regular daily tasks at hand to conquer, and now we're having to teach our kids about our history so they do get it as they're taking it out of the schools.
America is a great country, founded by great men, on great principles, and preserved on the account of many lives lost in many wars throughout history. Let's help to preserve America by learning a bit about her ... and passing it on to the next generation!
